A family member is in custody and charged with the deaths of 5 relatives -- four of them children -- from a bloody, jealously-fueled stabbing inside a home in Brooklyn's Sunset Park neighborhood.

The New York Post reports a 25-year-old man believed to be a cousin of the children was taken away by police who had arrived to find at least three people dead inside the 57th Street residence on Saturday night.

The suspect was jealous of the family's lifestyle according to the Post. “The family had too much. Their income (and) lifestyle was better than his,”a source told the tabloid.

During questioning the suspect showed "no remorse" and became angry. kicking a table and pushing an officer to the ground during questioning.

The victims include a girl and three boys --  9-year old Linda Zhuo, 7-year old Amy Zhuo, 5-year old Kevin Zhuo, and 1-year old William Zhuo and their 37-year-old mother, Qiao Zhen Li. The Post reports the 1-year-old was decapitated.

The 5-year-old and the mother were taken to Lutheran Hospital where they were pronounced dead, according to WABC TV.

The suspect was led away with his bare feet covered in blood. Police also found a machete and scissors inside he home as well. Neighbors tell the Post the man was "bizarrely calm" and composed as they removed two of the bodies of the children from the home. They said the suspect lived at the home.

“It’s looking like a domestic violence case,”a police source told the New York Daily News.

The father walked in to towards the end of the stabbing and tried unsuccessfully to stop him. He was described as "unconsolable" according to the Daily News.

No charges have yet been filed.
