When my kids were young, I didn't know any of the classic nursery rhymes. So I did the next best thing, I sang them songs I listened to growing up, in a lullaby fashion. My oldest daughter's favorite lullaby was always "Stairway To Heaven", while my youngest always preferred "Enter Sandman" (which, if you look at the lyrics objectively, is really a lullaby that rocks!)

And they grew up just fine.

Nice to know I wasn't the only parent that thought like that.

But this wasn't the first Seuss/rock and roll pairing. Can we ever forget the classic story of a young elephant who traveled long and far to attend a concert given by Pete Townshend, Roger Daltry, Keith Moon and John Entwistle? The Classic Horton Hears The Who.

Using this theory, comedian Mike Rayburn came up with a new classic.
