Alter Bridge to Play With Orchestra at London’s Royal Albert Hall

On the heels of the success of 2016's The Last Hero album, Alter Bridge continue to ride the wave by upping their game in the touring arena. The band will be performing at the Royal Albert Hall in London this Oct. 2 and 3, accompanied by The Parallax Orchestra conducted by Simon Dobson.

This marks the band’s first time appearing at the historic venue and they plan to treat the audience to a wide variety of songs never played live before while also including fan favorites from their five-album catalog.

The shows will also mark the band’s first time being accompanied by the Parallax Orchestra — a 52-piece London-based symphony orchestra. The collaboration with the orchestra should add yet another layer of depth to what fans already consider riveting live performances.

Tickets for the two nights go on general sale at 10AM on June 16. Pre-sales start at 10AM on June 14 via O2 and 10AM June 15 via Live Nation and the Royal Albert Hall.

The band has been rocking festivals around the world during this tour, and the recent Download festival was no exception. As previously reported by Loudwire, Alter Bridge plans to release of a new live album and rarities collection, Live At The O2 Arena + Rarities, on Sept. 8 via Napalm Records.
