Anthrax are currently on the latter portion of touring behind their 'Worship Music' album and 'Anthems' cover EP and they've decided to capture the live experience while the band members are definitely clicking on all cylinders. The group revealed via their Facebook page that a new concert DVD will be filmed during their upcoming stop in Santiago, Chile.

In the posting, the band states, "Be sure to be there and hear all of your favorite Anthrax songs in a special extended set featuring tracks from their whole catalog." The performance is set for May 10 at Santiago's Teatro Caupolican and the band is welcoming fellow thrash veterans Testament as their support act.

There is one other key piece of news within the announcement, as drummer Charlie Benante will be part of the band for the show. Benante has been taking time off from tours outside of the U.S. over the past year, citing "personal reasons." In his place, the band has employed current Slayer fill-in Jon Dette and Shadows Fall's Jason Bittner to help fill the void during Benante's absences.

Guitarist Scott Ian recently stated that the band's final show on this tour cycle will be Aug. 18 in Germany and that he expects the band will take a short break before getting back together in the studio to start writing for their next album.
