Ready to take a trip? Arcadea are ready to deliver, as they bring you the psychedelically awesome new song "Magnificent Facade," premiering exclusively here at Loudwire.

The song (listen below) feels as if it could soundtrack a movie scene, immediately jumping into the crux of the track with hypnotically mesmerizing vocals over sinister keyboards. As the song continues, it delves into more proggy and grandiose territory with major peaks and what sounds like dark cult chants before giving way to some masterful entrancing keyboard jamming as it heads to the finish.

Arcadea is a collaboration between Mastodon drummer Brann Dailor and his cohorts Core Atoms and Raheem Amlani, as they crafted their new album around the concept of a future 5 billion years from now where the impending collision of galaxies creates a new order of planets. Where cold, distant moons pledge alliance to new suns and expanding gas giants implode into black holes. Ancient drones, forever adrift, record toxic tales of love between dying stars. Where lifeforms in suspended animation, dream among the ice rings of Saturn and cosmic war wages among gods and planets. It is in this universe that Arcadea reign supreme as the last surviving space wizards since the final extinction. And given the overall concept, the soundscape of "Magnificent Facade" feels right at home.

The band recorded their self-titled debut at Orange Peel Studios in Atlanta and will be releasing the disc June 16 via Relapse Records. You can pre-order the album at this location. Stay up to date with all things Arcadea via the band's website, Facebook and Instagram accounts.
