Austin Psych Fest 2013 Adds Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, Deerhunter + More

The 6th annual Austin Psych Fest will blow people's minds at the scenic Carson Creek Ranch in Austin, Texas, from April 26-28, and organizers have announced several additions to this year's lineup. Rounding out the bill will be Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, Deerhunter and Moving Sidewalks featuring ZZ Top’s Billy Gibbons.

Other confirmed acts include Os Mutantes, Roky Erickson, Silver Apples, Young Magic, Night Beats, Hearts in Space, the Black Angels, the Soft Moon, Tamaryn, Wall of Death, the Besnard Lakes, Indian Jewelry, Golden Animals, Acid Mothers Temple, Woodsman, Spectrum, Holy Wave, the Growlers, White Fence, Vinyl Williams, Dead Skeletons and the Warlocks.

“We’ll be announcing the day schedules (which bands are playing which stage and when) on February 26th, along with a few more surprises!” reads the event’s official website. “In addition to its musical offerings, Austin Psych Fest will also feature an array of other activities. The fest not only supports local businesses with its food, retail, clothing, and record store vendors, but it also promotes the arts community by supporting local artists via multi-media installations and art exhibits.”
