Billie Joe Armstrong of Green Day played himself in a super fun cameo in 'This Is 40,' the latest Judd Apatow coming-of-middle-age film starring Paul Rudd and Leslie Mann. Sadly, the hilarious scene landed on the cutting-room floor. You can still watch it, though, as it's turned up online.

Foster the People's breakthrough smash 'Pumped Up Kicks' was pulled from many radio stations in the wake of the Sandy Hook school shooting in Newtown, Conn., which left 26 people dead, most of them young children. The song was a point of contention, due to the lyrics "You better run, better run / Outrun my gun / You better run, better run / Faster than my bullet." The band has responded to the song being temporarily removed from the airwaves.
Following last week's tragic school shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary in Newtown, Conn., Foster the People's breakthrough smash 'Pumped Up Kicks' has apparently been removed from the playlist at Los Angeles radio station KIIS-FM. The song touches on school violence and famoulsy features the lyrics, "All the other kids with the pumped up kicks, / You better run, better run, outrun my gun / All the other kids with the pumped up kicks, / You better run, better run, faster than my bullet."
