Still don’t have a costume for Halloween? You might want to hurry since the big day is less than a week away.
To help out a little, TV.com has a bunch of ideas for costumes inspired by TV characters. Some are kinda lame (going as Barney from ‘How I Met Your Mother’ means you’re basically just a dude in a nice suit), but there are some you could have fun with. In addition to ‘The Walking Dead’ (above), here are the five best we found from the list.
The backstage goings-on at ‘Saturday Night Live’ are legendary, and Darrell Hammond, who spent 14 years on the show performing impersonations of Bill Clinton and Donald Trump, is no stranger to them. His new book titled ‘God, If You’re Not Up There, I’m F*cked,’ details his years of drug use and other behavior some fans might be surprised to hear about.
Way back in 1999, ‘Star Wars: Episode I -The Phanton Menace’ reignited the ‘Star Wars’ franchise. Now, with a new trailer for the 3D version hitting the Web, ‘Wars’ mania is back in full swing. Ready to party with some Jedi like it’s 1999?
Lately, Ben Affleck gets behind the camera a lot more than he does in front of it, and his next project may have him directing a Stephen King novel.
Deadline.com is reporting that Affleck is in talks to direct Warner Brothers’ big screen version of King’s novel ‘The Stand.’ No word on who will star in the new version of the book. In fact, it’s not even confirmed by the studio or Affleck that he’s even in talks to direct the film.
14 million viewers watch the critically-acclaimed ABC comedy ‘Modern Family’ at its regular time, but if you add in the 4.5 million who watch a recording of it later, that number actually jumps to 18 million. So not only is it one of the best shows on television with exceptional ratings, it’s also the most recorded.
Though it was once derided as a platform for oversharing geeks, Twitter‘s become so big amongst celebrities, we find ourselves surprised when a boldface name doesn’t have a corresponding Twitter handle. Be-Kangol’d movie star Samuel L. Jackson is the latest celeb to join the social network, and signed up with a little help from prolific tweeter Jimmy Fallon on Tuesday’s ‘Late Night.’
Are you one of the approximately 75 gazillion people who are addicted to Farmville, cluttering Facebook news feeds with posts about finding a pig or tending crops? Then you might be interested in the Farmville movie Hollywood is developing based on the popular game. Not content to wait, Jimmy Kimmel debuted a (fake) teaser trailer last night on ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live.’
It may come as a shock to some people, but a lot of what you see on reality shows is — gasp! — fake. So, it’s probably not a surprise that people are saying that the latest news from one of the stars of Bravo’s ‘Bethenny Ever After’ and ‘Real Housewives’ franchise might not be true, either.
Bethenny Frankel has been making the media rounds, telling the story of how she and her husband were lost at sea off of Nantucket for 21 hours. The only problem with the story is that the man who, ahem, “rescued” her, Tim Russell, tells the Jewish Journal that she didn’t need to be rescued at all, because the boat she was on was functioning fine.
