It really is the next best thing to actually having a fireplace and a wife or girlfriend! This has to be one of the most hilarious yule log videos of all time! What separates this video from all the other fireplace videos out there is the music and a married couple fighting. What more could you ask for? It's got everything and it sure feels like Christmas!
If you haven't seen it yet you have to watch the interview with Carrie Fisher on Good Morning America. She returns to her iconic role of Princess Leia in the new Star Wars: The Force Awakens in theaters on (12-18-15) and recently talked with G.M.A. all about it. Well she kind of did, she brought her dog Gary with her and it was absolutely hilarious! I had no ideal Carrie Fisher was so funny and candid.
A challenge was issued to Cardboard Chaos to build a guitar out of cardboard. Not just any guitar, a Fender Stratocaster! Cardboard Chaos have built all kinds of things out of paper and cardboard, but never a guitar. They teamed up with master builders at Fender for the project with amazing results.
Ol' Rufus is a total bad a** with a sling shot! This guy is to the sling shot what Jimi Hendrix was to the guitar. He can hit just about anything, including a quarter in mid air. He's been at it since he was a kid. Back in his day having and being good with a sling shot was the difference between eating or going to bed hungry. His ability to aim and hit are super human, half the time he isn't even directly looking at the target.
Conspiracy theorist of the world unite! As we all anxiously await the new Star Wars: The Force Awakens, which by the way we're getting closer and closer to. It'll be in theaters on December 18th looking forward to it! In the meantime fans are scrambling to fill the time with any and all things Star Wars. I stumbled across this today and had to share it. This guy makes a pretty convincing case that Jar Jar Binks is actually a Sith lord!
This guy makes some pretty good points on why he refuses to purchase the new Star Wars Battlefront video game. It seems that every game these days has additional content, or D.L.C. (Downloadable Content) to be purchased throughout the year.
Recently good guy Harrison Ford A.K.A. Han Solo teamed up with Omaze to help raise money for various charities. The new campaign Star Wars: Force For Change will help rasie money and awareness for some great charities. PLUS 2 winners will be randomly selected for the ultimate Star Wars experience. Imagine being able to connect to multiple content platforms and all at the same time using a single device and monitor to control them all. This really is a game changer, introducing Skreens! This tiny, yet powerful box can combine all your content to a single monitor or T.V. and allows you to customize the experience just for you! From gaming consoles, cable feeds, streaming, social media online and more. You can have them all running at the same time on the same screen with no lag. The applications are endless. I gotta get one of these!
The A.V. club has a standing challenge to all bands that visit the office to cover a song. Not just any song there's a list of songs to choose from that has been prepared ahead of time. As more and more artists visit there's fewer and fewer songs to choose from. Recently Iron & Wine stopped by their office and ended up covering GWAR's'Sick Of You.' It's definitely a non-conventional cover and performed by an artist as far from GWAR's style and sound as you could get. As it turns out, it wasn't half bad.
Once again South Park nails it! What I love most about this show other than it's hilarious is the fact that nothing's off limits, especially safe spaces. The total ridiculousness of safe spaces is laughable on it's own. A bunch of hypersensitive, politically correct college kids who's feelings need to be sheltered and nourished. I find the whole laughable, even more so now that South Park's chimed in!
Conan takes us on an exclusive tour of Lucasfilm with producer Jordan Schlansky who's a self proclaimed Star Wars expert. During the video tour we not only get to see Star Wars memorabilia but other great artifacts from E.T. to Indiana Jones! We even get to go behind scenes to see how the magic is made.
