A&E's 'Psycho' prequel thriller 'Bates Motel' will check into Comic-Con 2013 for the very first time next week, sure to offer up plenty of season 2 scoops, but why wait that long? We know 'Bates Motel' season 2 will delve a bit deeper in to the Bates family line, but are you ready to find out who Norma will come face to face with in season 2?

According to a new casting report from SpoilerTV, 'Bates Motel' season 2 will introduce at least two new major characters into the mix. We'll first meet Norma's estranged brother Caleb, whom Norma was revealed (at the end of the first season) to have had a forced incestuous relationship with. Season 2 will also introduce Christine, the first and only real female friend Norma has ever had.

“We would be remiss if we didn’t meet some other members of the Bates family,” said  series creator and former 'LOST' showrunner Carlton Cuse previously. “We are definitely going to learn about their family tree, which has more twisty branches.” Cuse also added that Norma would find herself a new love interest in the coming year, one we’d yet to meet, while Vera Farmiga looks forward to meeting one of the Bates clan in particular. Nestor Carbonell’s mysterious Sheriff Romero will receive a bigger spotlight in ‘Bates Motel’ season 2, moving into more of his home life, and the identity of Dylan’s father come to light as well.

Well, what say you? Are you excited to meet the newest characters when 'Bates Motel' season 2 opens for business in 2014? What will we learn from the Comic-Con 2013 panel?
