We're glad Visceral and Dice are taking the time to make Battlefield Hardline the ultimate game of cops and robbers.

The official Battlefield website has announced that another multiplayer beta is coming for Battlefield Hardline. While we're not surprised at another beta being launched, Visceral Games and DICE are going about this one a little bit differently. The biggest change would be that the Hardline beta is going to be open to all players for PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 -- that's right, all major consoles (sorry Nintendo). There is going to be no cap on your character's level, so feel free to farm the demo and unlock all those perks, guns and bonuses. This beta will also include the new Hotwire mode as well as the Battlefield classic, Conquest. Hotwire is a new multiplayer mode unique to Hardline that focuses on epic car chases. It's cops vs. robbers on the roads, with all sorts of vehicular gunfire exchanged along the way.

"To be frank, we want you to play this beta to death," said Steve Papoutsis, the general manager of Visceral Games. "We need you to. This test is only going to make the game stronger, and help us take a look at ways we can ensure we deliver the most stable launch you deserve."

Battlefield Hardline will flare up its sirens on March 17 for PC, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Xbox One and PlayStation 4. Unfortunately, there is no word yet on the release date of the demo, which presumably will be starting soon. Stay tuned and we'll keep you posted for when we can all join the police academy.

Time to iron out the sound effects of all those guns:
