Treyarch and Activision have announced the fourth and final DLC (Downloadable Content) 'Apocalypse' for Call of Duty: Black Ops II will be released on Tuesday, August 27th 2013 (08-27-13) The new map pack will be available first for Xbox 360 with Ps3, Wii and P.C. to follow.

'Apocalypse' will feature two all new multi-player maps Frost and Pod along with two re-imagined versions of the fan favorites Courtyard and Stadium. These classic maps have been freshened up and redesigned, so get ready for Dig and Takeoff! PLUS there's an all new zombie campaign 'Origins'.

In all we get four maps, zombies and even a new song from Avenged Sevenfold as a part of the soundtrack! The zombie campaign 'Origins' will feature a new song from Avenged Sevenfold called 'Shepherd of Fire' off their new album 'Hail to the King' which will be released on the same day as the 'Apocalypse' DLC. Being big Call of Duty fans the band was more than happy to lend a hand in creating the perfect music for the new zombies!
