Prospective college students and their parents are invited to Cameron University’s Aggie Sneak Peek preview day on Saturday, November 2 beginning at 9 a.m. The action-packed event provides a prime opportunity to discover the benefits of a college education at Cameron and offers a head start on planning for college.

“Choosing a university is a life-changing decision, and we want students and families to be fully informed about Cameron as they consider their options,” says Jamie Glover, Associate Vice President for Enrollment Management. “Our goal is to demonstrate how Cameron can meet each student’s educational goals and to provide valuable information about the steps involved in becoming an Aggie. Cameron’s annual Aggie Sneak Peek provides prospective students a glimpse into the opportunities available at Cameron University by allowing them to interact with faculty, staff and students from the university.”

The event kicks off in the McMahon Centennial Complex at 9 a.m. with registration and breakfast, and the program gets underway at 9:30 a.m. Cameron President John McArthur will speak, and Cameron students will share why they selected Cameron as their “University of Choice.” Detailed information about scholarships, financial aid, campus housing, and the admissions process will be provided.

Attendees will have ample time to meet one-on-one with faculty and advisors during the Sneak Peek Browsing Fair in the Aggie Rec Center. The Browsing Fair is a prime opportunity to explore degree programs and more. Representatives from student activities, student clubs, and student governance organizations will also be available to answer questions.

When families are finished in the browsing fair, Cameron’s Aggie Ambassadors will be available to provide tours of Cameron’s vibrant campus and student housing. Faculty representatives will also be on hand in each academic department during the tour to show off academic facilities and answer questions about degree programs.
