'Captain America 2' has begun filming and you won't have to wait until Comic-Con to get your first look at Cap back in action. We've got your first 'Captain America 2' photo below! And what's better? How about confirmation that Scarlett Johansson and Samuel L. Jackson will be co-starring in 'The Winter Soldier?' Yup, we've got that too!

Marvel and Disney announced today that filming on 'Captain America: The Winter Soldier' began today in in Los Angeles with production also including locations in Cleveland and Washington D.C. The press release also included the rumored participation of Johansson and Jackson, who will return to co-star in the film as Black Widow and Nick Fury, respectively. We also have confirmation that Robert Redford has joined the film as Agent Alexander Pierce, a senior leader within the S.H.I.E.L.D. organization and not Dum Dum Dugan as previously rumored.

The film's plot is described thusly:

Steve Rogers struggles to embrace his role in the modern world and teams up with Natasha Romanoff, aka Black Widow, to battle a powerful yet shadowy enemy in present-day Washington, D.C.

Of course, that doesn't tell us much but we do know that the movie will follow the popular 'Winter Soldier' storyline from the comics that will see the deceased Bucky Barnes brought back to life as an assassin with a cybernetic arm.

In addition to Chris Evans, Scarlett Johnasson and Sam Jackson, the film also returns Cobie Smulders as Agent Maria Hill, Toby Jones, Sebastian Stan and, yes, Hayley Atwell. Newcomers to the cast include Redford, Georges St-Pierre, Frank Grimes, Emily VanCamp and Anthony Mackie as Falcon.

'Captain America 2' hits theaters on April 4, 2014. Click below to see a hi-res copy of the first 'Captain America: The Winter Soldier' pic.
