More Oklahoma Lakes are on the Mercury Advisory List
More Oklahoma lakes have been added to the mercury consumption advisory list recently. Seven lakes have been found to have fish with higher levels of mercury contamination so they have been added to the ODEQ (Oklahoma Department of Environmental Quality).

Now this is a really cool idea and one I would have never thought of. There's a dog park that's also a restaurant and pub in Oklahoma City called Solo's Park & Pub. It's located at 13310 Pawnee Drive in OKC so it's just a short trip down I-44 and about an hour or so away from Lawton, Fort Sill. It's the perfect place to take the entire family, including the dog!

At one time Oklahoma had a thriving turkey population, but it has since dwindled and has wildlife experts worried. Recently the Oklahoma Wildlife Conservation Commission met and voted to delay the next Spring turkey season (2022) to April 16th and reduce the bag limit to one tom per hunter. The same goes for the Fall season as well.
