Product placement and sponsorship can be a precarious situation. Companies who spend millions of dollars on a branding campaign can wind up coming across as too pushy or stiff to relate to consumers.

The past week has seen no shortage of jokes concerning Martha Stewart joining Match.com, but there was no way SNL wasn't going to get in on this action. After all, what kind of comedy variety show would it be if it didn't let one of the cast members break out a Martha Stewart impression?

Local commercials don’t get much worse than this.

Surely you've seen this ad from Dove, in which a forensic sketch artist draws women as they describe themselves, then as other women describe them, then everybody starts crying? While we can always count on Dos Equis commercials to bring the babe, the redhead in this newest spot blew us away, so we had to find out. Who is she?

Looks like it's time for that E-Trade baby to step aside. Don't get us wrong, talking babies are still cute. But dancing babies? That's a win! Right??

Usually when Facebook draws the ire of the collective internet it's because it's made a change to its format. But this time it's one of the social network giant's TV commercials that has the Web firing off a barrage of negative comments.
