Well, we finally know what they're doing with the old K-Mart building on 38th Street in Lawton, OK. There have been rumors galore and everyone's been taking a guess as to what will be going into the location.

The site is located between the Cache Road Square shopping center and Boot Barn. They're busy building something, so what's it going to be? We're all anxiously awaiting word with official confirmation.

Think about that before you answer...

The open lot next to the Ez-Go #27 at 3164 N.W. Cache Road has been purchased and they're building something at that location. They've been working on the site non-stop for the past several weeks. The BIG QUESTION people are asking is: "What will it be and when will it be open?"

Is it the starting pay keeping people from taking these jobs?

So what new businesses or company is coming to Lawton, Fort Sill? If you've been on the Westside lately you've probably seen all the construction on Quannah Parker Trailway next to the Tractor Supply at 7402 N.W. Sun Blvd.

It's the real Nightmare Before Christmas. We could be facing an alcohol shortage this holiday season. Oh' the humanity!

Oklahoma legislators are wanting to entice firearm and ammunition manufacturers to move to the Sooner State. The invitation would be for new and existing gun and ammo businesses that are considering relocating.

It's crazy but there's a Pepsi shortage in Lawton, Fort Sill. At first, I thought I was imagining things but then I starting doing some research and it's no joke, there is a National shortage that includes all Pepsi products.

If you're currently unemployed and in need of childcare services so you can find employment OKDHS (Oklahoma Department of Human Services) has a program to help you out. Starting today (10-01-21) OKDHS will offer free childcare for up to 3 months, 90 days to anyone who may have lost their job and is looking for work.

I just read an interesting article about Oklahoma Senator Michael Bergstrom filling a new senate bill (SB 1098) that would allow Oklahoma residents to purchase and own firearm silencers without all the federal regulations. If the silencer was made in Oklahoma and remained in the state it would be exempt from federal registration and regulations.

Looks like the new Comanche Nation Casino in Cache, OK. will be opening soon. I drove past the site over the weekend heading to the Wichita Mountains and from what I saw the wait is almost over.
