It's the great Christmas Light debate. A question that has plagued mankind since the earliest beginning of exterior holiday lighting. So exactly when do you hang up your lights? When is too early or too late? What's the perfect time to decorate the outside of your house for the holiday season? Well, we're still in search of answers to this question, but we want to know your thoughts on the subject.

You better watch out, you better not cry, you better not pout I'm telling you why, Santa Claus is coming to town this weekend! Join jolly Ole' Saint Nick at Wichita Furniture located at 1127 N.W. Cache Road this Saturday, December 5th 2020 (12-05-20) from 11:00am until 2:00pm. Bring the kids so they can tell him what they want for Christmas this year and of course get their picture taken with Santa.

No matter how we have to celebrate the holidays this season, one thing will be like other years, your chance to show your holiday spirit and cheer. Here's to Lighting Up our community in 2020.

Why not make this tradition an actual event for the family?

I have always loved the idea of baking homemade Christmas Cookies every year.  After all, I am Jeri Christmas, Right?  The reality, though, is two fold, first, you have to literally make time to do this sort of thing, and I couldn't do it without a stand mixer.  The dough is just tougher than my weak wrists could bear.

It's back! Jimmy Dean sausage scented gift wrapping paper has returned for another year. That's right you could wrap your presents with gift wrap that smells like Jimmy Dean Sausage.

The Lawton Salvation Army kicked off it's annual "Red Kettle Campaign" today (11-17-20) at the west side Country Mart located at 6734 N.W. Cache Road. It's now officially the holiday season! Starting today you'll see and hear volunteers ringing the bell for the Salvation Army's Red Kettle at various stores and locations in Lawton, Fort Sill encouraging donations.

It's almost here, we're only a few short weeks away from Thanksgiving. Hard to believe, not this Thursday but next Thursday we'll be sitting down and feasting on turkey and all the trimmings. So what's your favorite food on the menu?

Usually I don't really pay any attention to Christmas commercials until after Thanksgiving, but this one is an exception. It's early but I would say we could easily be seeing the single greatest Christmas commercial of 2020.

Now it's feeling and smelling like Thanksgiving. I just fried my first turkey of the year so it's officially the beginnings of the Thanksgiving turkey frying season. I love this time of year and Thanksgiving is one of my all time favorite holidays.
