I think we can all agree that most ever day in Southwest Oklahoma we are served some of the most beautiful sunrises and sunsets from around the world. Someone once told me it is because of our red dirt. The particles are in the air and the way the sun reflects off those particles gives us those bright oranges, purples and reds. Cameron University held a free Easter egg hunt for any kids that attended the softball games last Tuesday, March 31. Students involved in SAAC (Student-Athlete Advisory Committee) dispersed colorful Easter eggs across the outfield after the games ended.
We are smack in the middle of the phenomenon known as March Madness where the titans of the sport duke (not Duke) it out for the title of national champion, as a field of 68 will be whittled down to one.
