The Tiger King himself, King Joe Exotic could be pardoned by President Trump in his final days in office. The legal team surrounding and representing Joseph Allen Maldonado-Passage A.K.A. Joe Exotic is "confidant" that he'll be pardoned. Late last year they reached out to the President asking for a pardon, it's looking like it may just happen. A Limo and hairdresser are standing by waiting for the final decision. Joe Exotic didn't want anyone to see him until he had a chance to do his hair and makeup.

This week the Comanche County Health Department announced that persons who are 65 years of age or older are now eligible for the COVID-19 vaccination. The health department will be performing vaccinations in both Lawton and in Altus. In Lawton they'll be set up at the Great Plains Coliseum and in Altus at the Community Center.

The City of Lawton is purchasing the Central Mall for the FISTA (FIRES Innovation Science and Technology Accelerator) project. The Lawton City Council met last Friday (12-18-20) in a special session to finalize the purchase of the mall at a price tag of 14.6 MILLION! They'll be closing on it Tuesday, January 5th (01-05-21).
