Charlie LeDuff Squats on a Squatter in Detroit [VIDEO]

There's been a huge increase in recent years of people squatting in vacant homes. In the past months I've seen several specials on the subject on different channels. One of the worst happened to a military family who purchased a home and was then deployed. When they came back they found a person living in their house. Even worse they had to spend thousands of dollars and waste a ton of time to get then out due to laws.

Nowhere has this problem been more prevalent than Detroit, MI. With all the economic set backs and lay offs in the area there's a sharp increase in people squatting in homes that they don't own or rent. While I feel bad for these people, especially those with children the fact is the property doesn't belong to you!

One case of squatting lead to a person contacting Charlie Leduff of Detroit’s Fox 2 News and the YouTube channel The Americans with Charlie LeDuff to investigate and attempt to get their home back from the person who's been squatting in it.

He basically squats on the squatter by trying to move into the same house and force them out. It ends up that the person living their is doing so illegally and is basically just taking advantage of the law and the home owners themselves.

We really need to change the laws to stop protecting these squatters and start protecting property owners or this is only going to continue and get worse.
