Denis Leary Reveals Possible ‘Rescue Me’ Finale Spoiler [VIDEO]

Denis Leary
NBC

When we last saw the firefighters of Ladder Company 62 in ‘Rescue Me,’ they were trapped in a building that had just been torn apart by a massive explosion. On ‘Late Night With Jimmy Fallon,’ Denis Leary offered a potential clue to the fate of his character Tommy Gavin in the series finale, which airs tonight.

While a preview of the finale showed a funeral procession, it’s unclear exactly who dies. Leary seemed to hint that it just might be his character.

“The final scene that we shot, without giving anything away, is a funeral scene,” he said, “and I was off-camera that day. Could be a clue.”
