‘Destiny’ Beta Characters Will Not Return For The Final Game

With only a month until Bungie's highly anticipated beast of a game 'Destiny' is released the question on everyone's mind on the fate of their beta characters has been answered.

That answer is no. Which means all items, weapons and characters players have gained during their beta adventure are gone.

The reason these characters will not transfer over is the many changes Bungie has made from the beta build to final build. Some armor, weapons and items have been added and deleted and even the xp distribution has been tinkered with.

According to Tyson Green, a designer at Bungie, these changes left the beta characters in "strange shape that would be confusing at best, broken at worst."

'Destiny' will be released for PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One on Sept. 9
