Rising up from the ashes of Egypt Central, Joey “Chicago” Walser and Blake Allison have moved on with their music careers starting the new project Devour the Day. The creative duo made their debut with their first disc ‘Time & Pressure’ back in May of this year, and have already scored a Top 10 hit with the track 'Good Man.' Now, they are seeking the help of their loyal fanbase to help fund a video for their second single.

In the video seen above, Walser and Allison reach out to fans explaining not only the reason for the Kickstarter campaign but the interactive concept and idea behind the video they hope to make that will allow fans to become an integral part of the process. As the two share:  “We want to tell the story of how YOU, the fans, raised US back to life. And we can only tell it TOGETHER.”

With a goal of raising a total of $40,000, the band is well on their way and offering up several perks for anyone that pledges. Of course the rewards get better with each dollar pledged but there’s a little something for everyone including online Q&A sessions with the bands to stage-worn gear and sidestage access to upcoming shows.

For those with deep pockets, the band is offering up everything from a part in the video to the monster prize of a full live garage show at the pledger's house where the band will stop by and play their debut disc for the fan and his/her friends in attendance.

Visit the Kickstarter page here for all the details and to make your pledge.
