Dragon Age: Inquisition’s Combat System Detailed by BioWare

In this new video, BioWare explores Dragon Age: Inquisition’s flexible combat system, where your Inquisitor will be able to partake in real-time combat and a pause-and-play tactical camera.
Similar to the first Dragon Age title, players will be able to charge into combat for a more action-filled approach. This works well especially for melee classes. Whether you’re wielding a warhammer for massive impact, carving enemies with a pair of fast daggers or tanking with a sword and shield, the fast-paced action of Inquisition’s combat should work well for your fighting style.
For bosses, dangerous creatures, monsters, mages and more intricate fights, you can use the pause-and-play tactical camera. You can switch between characters and have them stand at choke-points, keep your ranged and healers in the back and keep your melee fighters where they belong. You can also pause in order to look at the layout of the battlefield and plant area-of-effect spells and fighters wherever you need them.
Unfortunately, Dragon Age: Inquisition has been delayed to a Nov. 18 release for PC, Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4.
