Power metallers DragonForce have just unveiled a new video for ‘Seasons.’ The track marks the second single from the band’s April 17 release ‘The Power Within.’ The new disc is their first to feature new singer Marc Hudson since the departure of ZP Theart back in 2011.

The video is a montage of live footage from the band’s latest tour mixed in with behind-the-scenes clips, and moments from the road. For anyone who’s never seen DragonForce live, this will give you a small taste of the high-energy show they put on from dueling guitars to hair-flying solos, and blazing keytars.

The song, a lot more melodic than we’ve heard from DragonForce in recent history, puts both the guitar playing of Herman Li and Sam Totman on display and also allows Marc Hudson’s vocals to soar. He wails out the chorus, "The words are dying in the night / No winter lasts forever/ The seasons pass and the sunlight will shine / On my life again," as the band rages on around him.

DragonForce has tour dates booked through March with stops in Mexico, Australia and several European countries. At present, there is only one U.S. date with the group playing the 70,000 Tons of Metal Cruise leaving from Miami Jan. 28. Check out all the upcoming dates here.
