Emmure's new record, Look at Yourself, is out today (March 3) and the deathcore act is celebrating with a new music video for the third track on the album, "Smokey."

The song clocks in at an even two minutes as Emmure trim the fat from their songwriting for a relentless assault of breakdowns, bass drops and their jittery brand of chugging rhythms. The band uses a further sense of distortion with staticky effects layered over Frankie Palmeri's open-throat shrieks. Over the mid-section, an echo-drenched lead attempts to break through the low end, making for an eerie effect while the band plays in warehouse illuminated by flickering lights.

Look at Yourself is out now on Sharptone records and fans can check out the more from the band with the music video for "Flag of the Beast" and previously released singles "Torch" and "Russian Hotel Aftermath."

The album marks the first from the new lineup after Palmeri was left as the sole remaining member following a mass exodus of his former bandmates at the tail of 2015. Backing Palmeri now is guitarist Josh Travis (ex-Glass Cloud, ex-Tony Danza Tap Dance Extravaganza), Josh Miller (ex-Glass Cloud) on drums and bass player Phil Lockett (ex-Tony Danza Tap Dance Extravaganza).

Catch Emmure currently in the midst of their headlining trek with After the Burial, Fit For a King, Fit For an Autopsy and Invent.Animate. A list of remaining stops can be found at our 2017 Guide to Rock + Metal Tours.
