Square Enix and Sony are doing what the fans have been begging for: they're bringing Final Fantasy VII over to the PlayStation 4.

That's right, Final Fantasy VII, arguably one of the greatest video games ever made, will be heading to PlayStation 4... as a port. They trolled us! While the world has been beckoning Square Enix to remaster Final Fantasy VII using modern video game tech, they have decided to troll us by adding a port of the PC version of the game to make it looks slightly better than what you can already download on the PSN for PS3 and PS Vita. We were hoping that one day Sony would let the PS4 have access to the same library of older-gen games that the PS3 and Vita have access to, but we guess that isn't happening.

Of course, this could be a test to see how much the fans are still interested in Final Fantasy VII. If the port sold extremely well, that could be the final shove Square Enix needs to remake Cloud's adventure. Until then, we'll get to play as blocky Cloud one more time.

Final Fantasy VII is coming to PS4 in Spring 2015.

Time to put this on repeat;
