It started with a few home state shows to celebrate the 10th Anniversary of their 'What It Is to Burn' album. From there, more shows and a live album followed. And now Finch's reunion is proving to be more than a one-off nostalgia-based thing as the band has revealed that a new album is coming this year.

The band revealed the news via a tweet posted Wednesday night (March 19) as well as at the tail end of a new video announcing their participation in the 2014 Vans Warped Tour. The black-and-white shot video, which shows the band performing in front of a frenzied crowd, can be seen above.

As for the tweet, check out the post below.

The band's new album will be their first full-length studio album since 2005's 'Say Hello to Sunshine.' The band went on hiatus in 2006, briefly reformed in 2007 and issued a self-titled EP in 2008. They had started on a new studio album, but once again disbanded in 2010 before it was completed.

Finch have been revisiting their breakout 'What It Is to Burn' album since late 2012 and released the 'What It Is To Burn X' CD/DVD earlier this year. To see the Vans Warped Tour schedule for this summer, click here.
