In a video interview with Distortia, Five Finger Death Punch drummer Jeremy Spencer and bassist Chris Kael dished about life on the road, unforgettable shows and more.

When asked about a memorable show, Spencer replied by saying, “Rammstein in Germany last year. It was incredible. Just the production value and stuff that they pulled off. I can’t believe what I was seeing. I was never really a huge fan of the music… [but] they blew me away.”

Chris Kael added: “Mine was Sepultura, mainly because the crowd was insane on that one, so it was just a huge crowd experience. I don’t remember much about the show, but I remember the environment and how much energy there was in the room.”

While on the road, things can get tough, so when stickman Jeremy Spencer was asked his hardest moment on the tour, he replied, “Waking up this morning! [Laughs] I don’t know man. It gets hard sometimes. You get beat down. It’s taxing, but it’s awesome. How could you complain about this gig? You’re playin’ to thousands of people that love your music and sing along .”

When asked about being the new guy and his time with Five Finger Death Punch so far, he said, “It’s been really good. honestly. We’ve gotten in there and meshed really well and there hasn’t been too much hazing at all. A couple things here and there, but it’s really been good. How can you complain about coming in and stepping into this gig? It’s the chance of a lifetime.”

Five Finger Death Punch’s latest album, ‘American Capitalist,’ has topped numerous music charts and they are currently headlining the ‘Share the Welt’ tour with support from All That Remains, Hatebreed and RAINS. For a full list of dates go here.
