Flyleaf were dealt a big blow when singer Lacey Sturm walked away from the band in 2012. However, the group quickly rebounded with Kristen May as their new vocalist, releasing the new album 'Between the Stars' in 2014.

The band recently stopped by Loudwire headquarters to discuss the new album and the decision to continue on with a new singer. In the video interview above, you'll find out how the band reacted to the news that Sturm was leaving. You'll also learn about how the group welcomed in May as their new vocalist.

Guitarist Sameer Bhattacharya admitted he was uncertain of his future when Sturm left the group, telling us, "The first thing I thought was, 'Oh my God, what am I gonna do now with my life.'" Check out our interview with Flyleaf in the video above to get some great insight into Flyleaf's thought process as they started a new chapter in their career.

Flyleaf's latest album, 'Between the Stars,' is available at iTunes. The band is currently out on tour, and you can see their full list of dates here.
