This is perhaps one of the greatest excuses to serve your country and get paid to play video games.

A new report disclosed by NSA contractor Edward Snowden, spies are also monitoring for terrorist activity in games such as World of Warcraft and Second Life.

Surveillance on these games got so intense a "deconfliction" group was assembled so spies of CIA, FBI and the Pentagon would avoid running into each other.

The 82-Page document states that government agencies are concerned that terrorists and criminal groups could be hiding in plain using the in-game chat function to exchange funds and plot attacks. However, the document also states that they found no such activity in these online games.

According to the report, these online worlds have been monitored since 2007.

A representative from Blizzard stated: "We are unaware of any surveillance taking place. If it was, it would have been done without our knowledge or permission."

Now only one question remains... Where do we sign up to get paid to play games?
