Governors Ball 2013 Lineup Announced, Featuring Kings of Leon + More
The lineup for the third annual Governors Ball – a music festival held in Randall’s Island, N.Y. – has just been announced. The event is scheduled to take place from June 7-9 and feature more than 60 acts from a variety of genres, including indie rock, hip-hop, pop, dance and electronica.
Among this year’s performers are headliners Kings of Leon and Kanye West, along with Animal Collective, the Avett Brothers, Bloc Party, Edward Sharpe & the Magnetic Zeros, Feist, Grizzly Bear, the Lumineers, Thievery Corporation, Young the Giant and more. Festival patrons will also get to enjoy food and drink from local food trucks and restaurants.
“Gov Ball ’13 will feature the very best acts in live music over what are sure to be 3 epic days in June,†remarked Jordan Wolowitz, one of the festival’s founders, in a recent statement. “We can’t wait.”
