Politicians are known for saying some really dumb things. More often than not, they have zero clue as to what they're talking about. It's not their fault, that's how the system works. Gun have been a hot topic since President Obama took office. Some politicians have been more vocal than most, and over the years the firearm manufacturers have just hid in the dark, hoping to avoid attention from them. Not anymore.

Last week, California State Senator Kevin de Leon made some unfortunately stupid claims about firearms. Being a politician, that's really no shocker. Hell, even the so called "Pro-Second Amendment" politicians from our own state of Oklahoma don't know what they're talking about either most of the time. So I'll give him a pass on his remarks out of pity for his stupidity.

Normally, gun manufacturers cower in the corner, trying not to upset the status quo of government subsidies and contracts and let these talking blowholes whip out whatever made up factoid they want. Normally, these firearms companies let their enormous fanbase of constitutionally aware citizens do their rebutting... but that is starting to come to an end.

The idiocy in question, and quite frankly the video that put de Leon on the map of "going full politician" is this.

Epic facepalm. This poor subject of government rule is just grasping at words, trying to string together a train of thought to roll over the constitutional rights of his subordinate citizens. (ironic that that "Ghost Gun" that shoots so "30 magazine clips" in "half a second" probably belongs to his head of security)

And I get that the full length 20 minute version of this press conference does shed a little bit of light on his ignorant remarks, but I'll let you google that if you're so inclined to defend such a worthless slice of pie.

Back on track... Aero Precision, a manufacturer in the large world of AR-15 rifles and components, has decided to step up and go on the offensive with their new "Ghost Gun" lower receiver. Poking fun, and throwing out the double one finger salute to the Senator himself. This multi-caliber lower has it all. 7000 series forged aluminim, hard coat anodizing, a fantastically insulting serial number, and a fun button selector switch for "Safe", ".30 Caliber Clip", and "Half Second"... It's shear brilliance!

Aero Precision is one of the few firearm manufacturers out there that is willing to stand up and let these domestic elected dumbasses know "damn you dumb."

Bravo Aero Precision, bravo. Having already placed my order, hopefully I'll have my Ghost Gun assembled within a week or two.
