This comedian was killing, but that's not why cops stormed his show.

Comic Adam Newman was recently in the middle of a set, doing a bit about two-in-one shampoo when NYPD cops entered the club and arrested someone in the crowd.

That's weird enough, but what was an even bigger surprise was the fact the cops were rude, heckling and cursing him.

Around the :45 mark, they said they couldn't wait to make the arrest and then one tells Newman to "shut the [bleep] up."

To his credit, Newman sees the goldmine potential here and capitalizes on the moment. He never gets unnerved and cracks several jokes, showing off his riffing ability. He could make a fortune if the club changed its business model.

As for the cops? Well, let's just say, like all comics, they need to work on their timing.
