Here's a quick tip on how you can check the level of propane in your tank before you fire up the grill this Fourth of July. If you don't have a scale gauge or a grill that weighs the current level of propane in the tank you can use ordinary hot tap water to get a good ideal of just how much propane you have left in the tank. It works and it's fairly accurate! It comes in pretty handy, especially if you've ever run out of propane in the middle of grilling something. There's nothing worse than having to make an emergency trip for more gas with half cooked meats on the grill!
