It's no secret to the world, that I am a self-proclaimed Grinch.  But this past Saturday, I performed the perfect fraud while, much to the dismay of my wife, making her look like the 'Grinch' that she's not!

That's right, last Saturday morning I performed the 'perfect fraud', I faked the Christmas Spirit!

If you only knew my wife, Mrs. Wilson is a woman who always wishes that our families could get together for the holidays, she fears losing our Christmas traditions as our kids get older, she puts up numerous Christmas Trees throughout the house each with their own theme, she believes that Christmas Eve must have White Christmas on the Television, and that I am the polar opposite, The Grinch!

As we entered Hobby Lobby, I plotted to play around a little.  The store was packed with shoppers young and old looking for all of the seasonal accessories to give the 'White Christmas' feel to their homes and that is when I began to loudly sing 'White Christmas', then 'Jingle Bells', 'Silent Night', 'Here Comes Santa Claus', and 'Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer'.  Mrs. Wilson was not very happy about this because she knew that it was nothing more than a ruse.  She proceeded to ask me to quit embarrassing her.

Much to my twisted pleasure, other shoppers began singing with me, and it began!  The Hobby Lobby Wilson extravaganza, five rows of shoppers singing along while Mrs. Wilson turns very, very red.

And then the nail in the coffin, a little old lady who over heard Mrs. Wilson scolding me says it.....'My my isn't someone a bit of a Grinch this year'!

I just about fell on the floor rolling in uncontrollable laughter, it may become my favorite Christmas memory!  I will cherish the Christmas of 2013 and the Hobby Lobby experience for a long, long time!  Tis' the Season!
