Punk rock legends Iggy and the Stooges are heading back to stores this spring with their latest studio album, 'Ready to Die,' and we're now getting our first taste of the disc, courtesy of the new track 'Burn.'

The driving rocker is filled with guitar goodness, with frontman Iggy Pop leading the way on the chorus, "Burn, burn, they're taking over baby / Burn, burn, they're taking over." The hyper-sexual rocker also delivers the salacious lyric, "The goddess of beauty is begging to do me / I got a lesson to learn" in the song.

The new album finds Pop playing alongside guitarist James Williamson and drummer Scott Asheton, with Mike Watt filling in for the late Ron Asheton on bass. The group will take their new music on the road this spring, with a March 13 show at the House of Vans in Austin for South by Southwest kicking things off. At present, dates are booked around the world into mid-July. Aside from the South by Southwest festival, the only other North American appearance currently on the itinerary is the band's headlining set at the Ink-N-Iron Festival on June 8 in Long Beach, California.

Iggy and the Stooges' 'Ready to Die' is due in stores April 30 via Fat Possum Records. You can pre-order the disc right here.
