It all sounds the same to me. I can't tell you how often I've said this about new country  artists and songs, too often to count. To be fair I'm sure some people say the same thing about rock, pop and rap. If you aren't a fan, it all blends together. In this case it really does blend together. Almost to the point of embarrassing!

Youtube channel Sir Mashalot took six different country songs and made one song out of them. Every song has a similar sound and tempo, all the lyrics are sung the same way and even the subject of the lyrics all blends together. Here are the songs used to make the video:

"Sure Be Cool If You Did"- Blake Shelton

"Drunk on You"- Luke Bryan

"Chillin' It"- Cole Swindell

"Close Your Eyes"- Parmalee

"This is How We Roll"- Florida Georgia Line

"Ready, Set, Roll"- Chase Rice

It almost sounds like someone wrote a song then made six similar ones using the exact same melodies and lyrics. No wonder the state of current country music is so stale, especially pop country. Again I'm not a fan, but even fans have to admit it all runs together. Most country artist don't write their own music, they just record and perform it made that's why it all blends together. Now classic and outlaw country is good music! However some of the newer artists on the scene are nothing more that pop stars with twang, and lack any real uniqueness or talent for that matter. Of course it's just an opinion, it's 100% right, but just an opinion!
