So we kicked off Operation Santa Claus today out at Jim Glover Chevrolet, 82nd and Cache Rd, where we're collecting new bikes to give away to the kids in the area that otherwise wouldn't have a Christmas. Now, in true charitable style, the "House of Kelso" decided to kick it off right and bring the spirit, donating four bikes right off the bat!

Knowing that these deserving little kids are of all ages and genders, we picked up two small bikes, and two big bikes, one of each gender... I only wish I could be around when some lucky kid opens their eyes on Christmas morning to discover Santa didn't miss their house! Giving just feels so damn good! It warms the heart, gives you a sense of purpose in this world, plus you can't help but imagine the smile on these kids faces! I love it.

Now, it wasn't just me doing the giving, it was a family effort there... so if you can't swing thirty or forty bucks for the season, do what I did and get a group to go in on one or two. Call up your best bro, your siblings, parents, cousins, ect... and make this happen!  We'll be live and loud on location at Jim Glover Chevrolet all night, non-stop until sometime tomorrow when we'll hit our goal of 200 bikes!

The best part is, the companies around Lawton are making it easy for us to be so charitable. While we'll accept any new bike you want to donate, both WalMart locations (Sheridan and Quannah Parker store) have set out their bikes for a special price, letting you save money while you give back! There isn't a reason out there why we can't achieve our goal! Don't let a kid go this Christmas without a present, step up and bro-code it into your holiday!  Bring out the bikes to Jim Glover Chevrolet - 82nd and Cache Rd - Be the Santa this year!
