January 14, 2013 2:33 PM Today during the Midday Buffet on Z we were joined by none other than the metal man himself Jason Newsted and talked about his new Metal EP available exclusively on iTunes.
Jason, over the last few years, has been a part of many independent music projects but now he is back and with a renewed vision for metal. He has stripped down his approach to music and returned to the roots to where it all began for him as a fan of the ultra-raw aggressive metal genre. The Metal EP was recorded at Newsted’s own Chophouse records with band-mates Jessie Mendez Jr. and Jessie Farnsworth. What sparked this locomotive of energy? Check out the interview below.
