Josh Todd of Buckcherry called in today to talk about the upcoming U.S. tour, their new studio album 'Confessions' in stores this Fall, sometime in September along with a short film the band is currently working on.

Buckcherry have been keeping fans up to date with all their current projects on their official website and the band's Facebook page. Recently they released several videos of the band working on the new album, taking us behind scenes for the recording process and give us an inside look at what to expect this Fall.

Todd said both the new album 'Confession' and the short film will be based on the seven deadly sins: wrath, greed, sloth, pride, lust, envy, and gluttony.

"It's based around the seven deadly sins and true events that happened in my life as well when I was younger,' said Todd  'so I think it's going to be a real treat for people who love this band and people who are just now discovering Buckcherry."

You can always count on Buckcherry to deliver that signature straight forward rock n' roll sound regardless of subject matter or influences that come together to create a new album. They maintain a solid formula that translates well to all who give it a listen.

When asked about 'Confession' Todd said "It's going to be a little bit different, it's definitely heavier musically than what we've done before. More melodic, it's pretty intense  but everybody's going to love it, it's quintessential Buckcherry".
