At the Monster Energy Aftershock Festival, which took place this past weekend, there was a lengthy all-star tribute to late Pantera drummer Vinnie Paul, whose band Hellyeah were slated to play the event prior to his untimely death this June at the age of 54.

Members from a number of high-profile bands took part in the show of respect for Paul, including Korn's Jonathan Davis and Godsmack's Sully Erna. The frontmen performed a duet of sorts on the Pantera classic "Walk." GWAR singer Blothar handled vocals on "Mouth for War" while "A New Level" was also tackled. The song "Save Me," from Paul and his late-brother Dimebag Darrell's post-Pantera outfit Damageplan, was performed as well.

Throughout the tribute, one of Paul's drum kits was used by the rotating cast of musicians. Hellyeah bassist Kyle Sanders was on hand to play during each of the performances. Fan-filmed footage from the festival, which also saw members of Deftones, Sevendust, Shinedown and more take part int he tributes, can be viewed below.

"Vincent Paul Abbott died from natural causes, specifically, dilated cardiomyopathy. Severe coronary artery disease was identified as a significant condition to the cause of death according to the official report submitted by the Clark County Coroner's office," Pantera said in a statement. "We ask that you please continue to respect the privacy of the family and friends of Vinnie Paul. No further statement will be issued."
