Latest 3DS Update Adds Themes to Change your Home Screen
The newest update for your 3DS will allow you to add custom themes to your machine, giving that home screen a facelift.
According to Game Informer, the brand new update is available now and will get you five new themes (red, blue, yellow, pink and black), with the ability to purchase more in a special Theme Shop.
In the Shop are themes based on Designs and Patterns, Characters and... Mario. Well, no surprise there! You can find themes such as:
- Mario: Wood-Burned Characters
- Mario: Felt-Stamped Characters
- Spotlight: Peach
- Mighty Mushrooms
- Checkerboard: Black & White
- Hanafuda
- The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds
The basic themes will cost $0.99 while the more premium, character-centric themes run for $1.99.
The premium themes will change the look of your home screen, its icons and even the sounds. Hop into the Theme Shop now and start searching for a new look for your 3DS.
