Lawton Top 5 Places To Cool Off

With record temperatures and no end in sight to the 100 plus degree days we're enduring we could all use a place to cool off. That moody bitch Mother Nature won't give us a reprieve  from the sweltering summer heat so it's time to take matters into our own hands! If you're looking to cool off here's a few suggestions:

1.) FLIX BILLIARDS:

2607 N.W. Cache Road

If you’re looking for a place to cool off and take a “break” head to Flix Billiards. The A.C. is always crankin’ they’ve got ice cold beer, drink specials,  plenty of standard & regulation size pool tables, foosball, darts and more! It’s a good place to cool off & have a great time doing it. Flix Billiards is open Monday through Friday from 6:00pm to 2:00am / Saturday & Sunday from 4:00pm to 2:00am You must be 21 or older to enter.

2.) LAWTON PUBLIC LIBRARY:

110 S.W. 4^th Street

Another great place to cool off is the Lawton Public Library located in downtown Lawton. With all kinds of activities going on & various reading programs throughout the summer months it’s the perfect place to take the entire family. There’s always something going on, from story time, puppet shows, family game nights, teen book club & more! 3.) CARMIKE CINEMAS:

One of the best places to cool off in Lawton is Carmike Cinemas. With cool air, ice cold soft drinks, a huge selection of concessions & the latest Hollywood releases you can’t go wrong. There’s nothing like going to the movies & kicking back in a cool theater for a couple of hours when it’s 100 plus degrees outside.
