Lawton’s Light The Park & Trunk-Or-Treat Is This Weekend

This Saturday, October 8th, volunteers from the community will invade Elmer Thomas Park to start setting up Lawton's Holiday In The Park light display... And to bring the people in, there are a ton of activities planned throughout the day.

As you'll see in the poster, the holiday light setup will run from 9a-2p. Then the party begins! With a spooky car show, pumpkin patch, pumpkin decorating, dunk tanks, face painting, bounce houses, balloon darts, a zip line, obstacle course, and more. The best part is, it's all kid friendly stuff! For a little traditional Fall grown-up fun, there will be a chili cook-off too. (really looking forward to that!)

As the sun starts to get low, kids will be getting an early Halloween, able to trunk-or-treat in the designated area. A zombie walk through the park is planned, plus an outdoor showing of Ghostbusters. It's sure to be a real family friendly Fall day in the park.
