Alter Bridge's Mark Tremonti was a guest on Jamey Jasta's podcast recently and discussed his time in Creed and the band's reunion, which lasted from 2009 through 2012. While the guitarist is sitting on an album's worth of material, Creed fans shouldn't cling to much hope for a new album unless there's a massive changing of the tides.

Mentioning the people always ask if Creed truly are done and if there will ever be another album, Tremonti revealed, "I'm sitting on an entire Creed album," noting the material was from the band's reunion era. "We put a lot of music together and I have like really sketchy little demos of probably 13 songs. I listened to them maybe a year ago and they're good songs."

"It's just, there's no time," he admitted as he went on to discuss the strength of these demo songs. "Is it good enough for me to put everything on the back burner that I've been working on for the past 14 years? No," Tremonti affirmed. Not ruling out the chances of a new record for good, he said, "Is it good enough to maybe 10 years from now or seven years from now... or some big resurgence happens or there's an anniversary where everybody's like, 'We want to see Creed' and the world demands it like they used to? I wouldn't say no."

Tremonti has been incredibly prolific since Creed once again dissolved in late 2012. He's released two studio albums with Alter Bridge and three solo records (not including his 2012 debut), the most recent being this year's A Dying Machine. Alter Bridge also just released Live at the Royal Albert Hall where the band was accompanied by an orchestra.
