As it turns out, Verne Troyer is quite a plinker out on the range.

Like most new shooters, Verne stepped up to the line and squeezed off a couple of 22's for fun. It was his first experience with firearms, and like everyone that does, he had a blast.

Unlike most people, my first experience with a handgun was shooting a buddies dirty and gnarly Ruger GP100 in .357 mag... in a field... with no hearing protection. We were dumb back then. Since then, I've had hands on just about every pistol and cartridge variation you can think of.

While most shooters will talk of the .44mag or the S&W500 being the funnest of all rounds to send down range, chances are I'm the one ***hole in the room that brings up the snappy 10mm.

I'm getting far off track here. The point is, if you love your sport, share you sport. Introduce someone you know to the world of recreational shooting. It starts with safety basics, not handing that person a loaded .357 and saying "Point it that way."
