Motley Concert Fans In Indonesia Bilked Out Of Thousands
Want to see Motley Crue in concert? Who wouldn't? They just finished up a stint that included Australia, and Japan but not in Indonesia. Apparently, some crafty individuals crate a buss in Jakarta that the group had included Indonesia to their tour and went as far as promoting it and selling tickets.
Only one problem. It was never scheduled or even thought of. But unfortunately for over 1500 people, they paid the equivalent of $40 to see the show and that amount scammed is just about $60 grand.
Motley Crue band members quickly responded to the unfortunate situation and quieted rumors that they were indeed not playing there and people had fallen in to the hands of a shady promoter. Jakarta Police have launched an investigation but no suspects yet.
