While there are no new movies in wide release this weekend, you may have been too busy eating the last of your mom’s famous pumpkin pie to check out those released over the Thanksgiving holiday — so here’s another look at them.

In the animated flick ‘Arthur Christmas,’ Santa Claus’ son Arthur embarks on an urgent mission that must be completed before the dawn of Christmas morning.

Oscar-winning director Martin Scorsese, known for decidedly adult fare like ‘Taxi Driver,’ ventures into family-friendly territory with ‘Hugo,’ the tale of a mischievous boy trying to unlock an important secret left behind by his father.

And don’t forget about ‘The Muppets.’ Last week’s number two movie (trampled by the juggernaut that is the ‘Twilight’ franchise) features ‘How I Met Your Mother’ star Jason Segel and Amy Adams helping our favorite felt friends as they reunite to save their old theater from a greedy oil tycoon.
